Replacement tricks of the AC Accumulator

It is not a thing to get shocked that almost all the car is coming with built in Air Conditioner inside it and hence, everything has changed now. However, its maintenance is also important and difficult too. It is worth to be noticed that the AC in the car has to be operated with the help of gas only which is also known as refrigerant and there should not be any liquid particle inside it. So as to remove the liquid entirely, the AC Accumulator is used in its assembly. However, it is also damage prone and over time, it also gets rusted, etc. and there is a great need to replace the same in your car so as to make it operate as it is new one. Every time it is said that the replacement is difficult but this kind of replacement is very simple.

However, there are few simple tricks that need to be followed while one replaces the AC Accumulator in the car. First of all, there is a need to evacuate all the refrigerant from inside the Air Conditioner and it should be taken to the technician rather that replacing by own at home. Locating the accumulator is difficult and needs to be located very carefully as sometimes; it may also be present inside the hoods. Then it is loosen and taken immediately from their bracket. Take a new accumulator and before using it, there is a need to rinse it with the help of some PAG oil and the lubricant of the Air Conditioning system.

Care should be taken the PAG oil that we are taking for the cleaning of the new AC Accumulator should not be more than the 2 oz. Then it is cleaned and again placed into their bracket and fitted with the help of screws. Screws are tightened with the help of line wrench. Now there is a need to refill the refrigerant that was evacuated from the Air Conditioning System. Now, the AC is all right and is ready to be used gently. In this way, the accumulator can be replaced and that also with some ease and with no discomfort.
