How the removal of an AC Evaporator is done?
It is worth to be noted that the Air Conditioner inside the car is supposed to be an integral part of it nowadays and hence, the direct impact can be seen on the sale of the car if either the built in AC is not present or even if the installed built in AC is not reliable. Hence, there is a great need to look after the maintenance of the AC. There are so many sectors in it and one among them is the AC Evaporator. In any vehicle, there are basically two purposes solved by the presence of Air Conditioner. The very first purpose is that it always makes you feel comfortable inside the car and secondly, it helps in keeping the engine cool all the time. Condensed air is made to move through the pipes and hence, there is a probability of the presence of the moisture. The evaporator helps to remove that moisture and also helps to remove the heat.
Vehicle is supposed to be very risky without an AC Evaporator and hence, if it is damaged then it needs to be removed and replaced with a new one. First of all, there is a need to disconnect the battery. It should always be done by fetching off the negative terminal and it can be identified with the help of its black color. From the Air Conditioning system of your vehicle, there is a need to remove all the pressure. Also, if Freon gas is used in it, then rather than releasing it directly to the atmosphere, you should consult your dealer. This is so because releasing the Freon gas is illegal.
There is a shift lever in it and it needs to be shifted to the rear location. Storage bins are required to be removed entirely from the front and rear location of the vehicle. There are so many connectors in it and all of them are required to be removed one by one. Finally the air conditioning system is located and evaporator is found. Directly remove the AC Evaporator from its place by lifting it and connect the new air conditioner evaporator in its place. In this way, the safety is ensured.
